Crowd Fusion

Two weeks ago, I had the pleasure of being interviewed on the new Jason Calacanis-hosted video show This Week In Startups. It was only their first episode, but the production setup was remarkable. His team members really know what they're doing.

The format is an hour-long interview Charlie Rose style, compete with the black background. Except Calacanis couldn't find a round table, so he's using a rectangular one instead.

We touched on some of the highs and lows of being an entrepreneur -- from raising money and building a team to going into debt and making tough decisions. We covered many projects I had worked on, some of which Jason and I were both involved with like CyberSurfer magazine, Venture Reporter, Weblogs, Inc., Blogsmith and Netscape. One of the cooler features of the show is that guests take questions from the audience live over Twitter.
